Kicking off on Thursday.
Sony has announced the PlayStation Network will be offline for four
hours to enable scheduled maintenance, beginning at 9pm GMT+4 on
Thursday 15.
PlayStation 4 outsold Xbox One for nearly an entire year straight, before Xbox One became the best-selling console
in the US last November. At that point, Layden detailed that
PlayStation 4 had shipped 13.5 million consoles to stores. The consoles
sales figures now sit at 18.5 million.
Last week, Sony revealed its subscription plans for PlayStation Now, and over the holiday, the company apologized for PlayStation Network outageswith rewards for its users.
