Flapping on the big screen.
Flappy Bird is making the jump from mobile to arcade screens.
Arcade manufacturer Bay Tek now has a listing for a licensed Flappy Bird arcade cabinet. The larger screen is oriented just like the mobile game, with one big red button to control the bird's flaps. It's listed as a "Video Redemption" game, meaning players earn arcade tickets for each successful pipe slalomed.
Flappy Bird was an unexpected hit last year, when it the free-to-play app reportedly brought in $50,000 daily from advertising alone. Creator Dong Nguyen subsequently pulled the game, saying it had grown too popular.
