Maybe we are just threading on really thin ice.
A former Naughty Dog artist's LinkedIn profile may have inadvertently revealed a sequel to The Last of Us.
The profile belongs to Michael Knowland, who now works at Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios as a senior character artist. Knowland is his profile mentions having worked on "1 month prototyping head sculpts" for The Last of Us 2, suggesting Naughty Dog may have already begun post-production work on the sequel.
Knowland left Naughty Dog in April, following other major departures, including veteran writer Amy Hennig, Uncharted 4 director Justin Richmond, and lead artist Nate Wells.
Currently, Naughty Dog is busy prepping Uncharted 4 for launch some time
next year. At the PlayStation Experience held earlier this month, we
got a glimpse of the game with a 15min demo showing off the game's new graphics engine, sandbox environments, and some of Nathan Drake's new moves.
