Free Game Trials May Be Coming to Xbox One

Microsoft looks to be working on a new feature for Xbox One, which would make it possible for users to download and play games for free, for a limited time.

A Reddit user who was taking part in the US version of the console’s beta last night discovered that the game Max: The Curse of Brotherhood was available for free download.

The game was listed under a new section titled “Free Play Day with Gold,” suggesting that users will get 24 hours with the game.

In answer to a tweet asking about the new feature, the official Xbox Support account answered “Gotcha. Looks like it is actually. We’ll be in touch here shortly. :)”

It appears this feature will only be available for Gold subscribers. Keep it locked to Consoleinfo.be as new details emerge.
