Producer Eiji Aonuma says "I'll say more" about upcoming Wii U game at trade show in June.
Nintendo will share more information about the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii U at the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo in June, producer Eiji Aonuma told Mashable. E3 2014 takes place June 10-12.
"I'll say more at E3 2014," Aonuma said when asked about the new Zelda game.
Aonuma said earlier this month that development on the first all-new high-definition Zelda title was "going well," adding that this title is making use of the Wii U GamePad in "various ways."
The longtime Zelda producer also has suggested that this upcoming Wii U
Zelda title will "shake up" the series, but feel familiar at the same
time.
"The more we change it, the more I get fired up," Aonuma said. "Having
someone think 'Huh? Is this Zelda?!' at first, then 'Oh, it is Zelda,'
is what we're going for."
Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD earlier this month. A 3DS game--The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds--is set to launch on November 22.
