Snapping, Skyping, SmartMatching -- it's all shown off in this Xbox One UI video.
A new video released by Microsoft highlights the Xbox One's dashboard,
voice navigation capabilities and how users can switch between apps and
games.
As highlighted during a TGS 2013 demo, the majority
of Xbox One's main menu will consist of five icons displaying the last
five games and applications used on the console. According to Albert
Penello of Xbox One's planning team, the console's dashboard layout is
an example of how Microsoft looked at Xbox 360 users' habits when
designing the Xbox One's interface.
Xbox One users will be able to record the last five minutes of gameplay,
and make edits and share the clips using voice commands. While users
will be able to share
gameplay clips via Xbox Live at launch, the ability to upload gameplay
capture clips to social media sites won't be available until 2014.
